Firestone F560 radial tires are a perfect choice for European sports cars and they also work well on the front of hot rods. The 165R15 is our most popular size and allows for many authentic fitments, and this blackwall radial tire is a favorite among Austin Healey, MG, Fiat, Porsche, Volkswagen, Citroen and Renault enthusiasts. The tread design and compound offer great dry and wet handling, while the tall sidewall and narrow tread profile provide the right look for many vintage sports cars. The Firestone F560 is a steel belted radial with P speed rating. All Firestone F560 tires are DOT and ECE approved.
Fits these models and others. Please refer to your owners manual for details on the correct tire fitment requirements for your model and trim level.

Must this tire (Firestone F560, 165/80-15) use a tube? By Steve on September 06, 2018
Answer:
This tire does not require a tube, but it can be mounted with a tube if you have a wire rim or a rim that otherwise does not hold a seal.

Question:
I called my Firestone dealer. He stated Firestone had not made F560 in that size (165 80 15 ) in about 15 years ! By Oran on June 29, 2018
Answer:
This is true, the F560 was discontinued by Firestone many years ago and we took up the torch as the new manufacture for this vintage model. We build this tire under license from Firestone and proudly carry on the tradition to keep your classic vehicles on the road.
Yes, you can replace the 165 tires wit 175 tires. The circumference of the 175/65 is slightly smaller so your speedometer will read slightly lower than it did before for any given engine speed.

The first number in the tire size, 165, represents the width of the tire in millimeters. To convert this to inches, we divide 165 by 25.4 (since there are 25.4 millimeters in an inch). This gives us approximately 6.5 inches.
The number 165 represents the tire width in millimeters, 80 is the 'aspect ratio'. or the relationship between the tread width and the distance from the lowest part of the rim and the highway, the 'R' means its a radial tire, and the number 13 is the rim (wheel) diameter.
Wheel diameter consists of two numbers following the tire construction letter. In our P215/65 R15 95H example, the “15” means the tire would fit a rim with a 15-inch diameter. This is an important number, as it's the number you'll refer to when asked what your tire size is!
For diameter you'll need to be sure that your tires and wheels are an exact match, e.g. a 215/65R17 tire will only fit on a 17" diameter wheel. There's a bit more flexibility when it comes to wheel widths.
